Parker Lannom – Two Initial Ideas

Idea 1: Responsive Chess

For this idea the user will play a standard game of chess against either another person or the open source chess engine Stockfish. After every move the engine will evaluate the position and determine who it believes is winning. This determination will effect background artifacts such as music and color scheme and provide feedback to users about how good their move was.

Idea 2: Crowd-sourced gameplay

Framework that allows a group of people to play a two player game on their phones; i.e. checkers. For example a group of people are assigned to team 1 and team 2. From there each person makes a move which counts as a ‘vote’. The move with the greatest number of votes is executed.
