Idea One:
An interactive game that can be played by the whole class. A game where a large audience of people can play from their smartphones and watch as the game unfolds on a large screen. The challenge could arise from playing against each other or working together to solve problems. Players are seen working together and against each other to score the basketball in the hoop in the game, Snipperclips, pictured above.
Idea Two:
A platform for making games within a “game”. Many game engines require proprietary knowledge of many other disciplines in order to make a game (ie. Programming, 3D modeling, animation, music production). Imagine a tool where all of these skills are more abstracted and individuals could focus more on ‘game design’ itself. Think Minecraft as the example where players are creating the world they play in as they play the game. In Minecraft, the idea of creating textures and modeling objects are abstracted away so that the player can more easily focus on the creative aspect of 3D form design.
