Parker Lannom is a current senior in computer science. He is interested in how people interact with technology, specifically how technology can bridge gaps in society and bring us together. He has experience in software engineering, web development, and distributed systems development. In his free time, Parker is an avid fan of comedy movies and playing online chess, albeit poorly. He enjoys anything that can be seen as a challenge or puzzle, hence why he chose to major in computer science. He hopes to be able to use his skillsets to aid in the development of a product that has potential to positively impact society in some capacity, even if just a few people.
Welcome, Parker. Have you heard the fascinating story behind mechanical Turk? (not the Amazon one but the old chess-playing robot story that shocked the world). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Turk
A puzzle is a good notion that may be useful for this project. I remember an interactive music project that sonifies the level of completeness of a Sudoku puzzle, where the music ends when the puzzle ends and beeps when the user makes a wrong move. https://vimeo.com/129325656
