Group Talk: Yuan Li and Leo Soares

The Center for Human Computer Interaction at Virginia Tech will be hosting talks on Friday from 3DI Group members Yuan Li and Leonardo Pavanatto.  They will be giving talks based on their papers that were accepted at Spatial User Interface Conference (SUI) 2019.

Yuan Li will talk on his paper “Gaze Direction Visualization Technique for Collaborative Wide-Area Model-Free Augmented Reality,” that he wrote with Feiyu Lu, Wallace Lages, and Doug Bowman. In turn, Leonardo Pavanatto will be discussing his paper “Evaluating the Impact of Point Marking Precision on Situated Modeling Performance,” that he wrote with Doug Bowman and Marcio Sarroglia Pinho (of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul). These talks will be held on Friday, October 11 at 3:30 in the Moss Arts Center Observation Room (251).  Snacks will be provided.
