Viral – 2 Initial Ideas + Intro

Initial Idea 1-
Note-Able 🙂

A crowd-sourced (live?) system that allows student to contribute to a ‘notebase’ for a class being taken by a prof, where each student commits to the notebase ‘line by line’ making it mandatory for students to pay attention in class, contribute just one line to the notebase yet have the comprehensive complete notes for a class.
This could have the professor taking the class give out randomly automated prompts/questions at moments when it is essential to grasp the concept (eg question assigned to a student at the change of a slide) so that the assigned students can summarize it or add a note on it. Thus it could become mandatory for all students have to pay attention, benefitting a common goal.

The inspiration for this idea was an app called Haiku Jam. A similar thing could be done with story/music development perhaps? with readymade constructs for certain notes and plots and the users come up with a musical towards the end.

Initial Idea 2-
Classy 🙂

A facebook-linkedin-tinder crossover for subjects/courses/classes. Every class has a profile and sections like currently taught by (Prof Name), Previously taught by, Related to (Another Similar Classes of the Same or Different Universities). Each class can belong to a single or be cross-listed between different departments and/or universities.
Classes can have timelines for their progress as well as in the historical, retrospective sense.
Could add more features related to Academia/Industry, need to brainstorm more on the feasibility and scope for the Term Project.
This project on steroids – Add video lectures and assignments like Coursera to the whole system, and make it all under one roof (out of empathy for students?).

Intro-
I have some fairly decent experience in playwriting and direction, writing poems and stories as well.
Know the basic programming languages Py, Java, C, etc. (Proficiency in that order). Wouldn’t mind learning a few new things along the way for the project.
