Christos Lougiakis

I am a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece). In 2023 I was awarded with the Fulbright/IKY scholarship and joined the 3D Interaction Group as a Visiting Scholar for 6 months. My research is focused on exploring physics-based hand interaction in XR and its effects on human perception and user experience. My area of expertise is 3D interaction and UX design and development for XR. Interested in effective, intuitive and embodied interactivity in single- and multi-user experiences. Passionate about shaping the future of our interactions with virtual environments and other people in XR mediums.
