Taxonomy of Context for AR Interfaces

A substantial body of research exists concerning the development of taxonomies for understanding context. Our perspective centers on the belief that user context can be effectively delineated into three primary components: the User, the Setting, and the interplay between the two. Building upon existing taxonomies, we propose a taxonomy that entails a comprehensive framework for characterizing everyday user contexts and aligns seamlessly with our overarching objective of designing and adapting AR interfaces.
