A new achievement for the 3DI group! This past weekend, a subset of our group proudly hiked the 8 miles roundtrip to the top of Mcafee Knob. Joined by the brave husky Strider, this was our first major hike since the COVID pandemic started. A great opportunity to enjoy nature and each other’s company, while talking about anything but work (Uhum, who am I kidding…). While we did spot a Garden Snake, I am happy to report that nobody was injured. Furthermore, our emergency plans to escape from a bear were not required, and they remain untested.
