Doug Bowman organizes the panel discussion “Sense of Place: User Experience and Interaction in Virtual and Augmented Reality,” as part of the ICAT Day on May 1st, 2017. The panel will take place at Anne and Ellen Fife Theatre in the Moss Arts Center of Virginia Tech. The panel consists of distinguished researchers in the field of VR/AR: David Eisenmann, Producer & Computer Graphics Supervisor with Google Spotlight Stories; Dr. Richard Marks, Head of the PlayStation Magic Lab at Sony Interactive Entertainment; Dr. Ivan Poupyrev, Director of Engineering and Technical Lead at Google’s Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP); and Dr. Andy Wilson, principal researcher at Microsoft Research.
