CTE faculty&nbsp;have pioneered several fundamental technologies including layered tissue architectures&nbsp;(Rajagopalan), comprehensive and sensitive molecular profiling techniques&nbsp;(Helm), computational mining&nbsp;and modeling of massive datasets (Murali, Heath),&nbsp;dynamic models of&nbsp;cellular processes (Tyson),&nbsp;microfluidic systems (Davalos),&nbsp;toxicological systems (Ehrich), and animal models of disease (Prater). Our group includes a&nbsp;bioethicist (Zallen) who studies social, ethical, and policy issues arising from advances in genetic&nbsp;technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pages highlight some of the research projects that CTE scientists are involved in.
