{"id":1844,"date":"2016-08-08T10:09:20","date_gmt":"2016-08-08T14:09:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress.cs.vt.edu\/csblog\/?p=1844"},"modified":"2016-08-08T10:51:47","modified_gmt":"2016-08-08T14:51:47","slug":"new-endowed-fund-to-support-diversity-in-computer-science","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.cs.vt.edu\/csblog\/2016\/08\/08\/new-endowed-fund-to-support-diversity-in-computer-science\/","title":{"rendered":"New Endowed Fund to Support Diversity in Computer Science"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech is pleased to announce the establishment of the \u201cBarbara Ryder Fund for Diversity in Computer Science.\u201d\u00a0 This new endowed fund honors the outstanding personal efforts and culture-changing example of Dr. Barbara Ryder, J.
