Team ViGIR, a collaboration between TORC Robotics, the 3DI Group at Virginia Tech, and TU Darmstadt, placed sixth in the Virtual Robotics Challenge competition in June 2013. The team now moves on to compete in the physical DARPA Robotics Challenge with an ATLAS Robot. Congratulations to Felipe Bacim and Doug Bowman, 3DI Group members!
